Orderfox platform with global CNC event calendar
Last year, the Liechtenstein-based digitalization experts at Orderfox launched Orderfox.com, a globally oriented online platform for the metalworking industry.
In order to offer the community added value on an ongoing basis, the platform is continuously being expanded with interactive tools and features for more information and service quality. The latest website feature in the customer service section is the trade fair and event calendar. This globally unique calendar with all specialist trade fairs and events is also expanded and kept up to date directly by the community.
Following the successful trade fair appearance at the EMO in Hanover, 270,000 CNC manufacturers and buyers from 64 countries are now part of Orderfox.com. According to the company, more than 320,000 advertised and already produced CNC parts make the platform currently the largest search engine in the CNC industry. The new "trade fair and event calendar" contains all relevant dates for the metalworking industry worldwide. Orderfox.com thus creates more transparency and better planning within the industry. In addition to the centrally entered leading international and national trade fairs, company events such as in-house trade fairs, exhibitions, product presentations, dealer days, roadshows, anniversary celebrations or open house festivals are also entered directly by the community in the event calendar.
Entering and uploading an event is intuitively guided in just a few simple steps. Also integrated is an export function for appointments to your own calendar, whether Google, iCal or Outlook. The platform experts at Orderfox.com are currently working on expanding the feature to include travel management functionalities. In future, members will be able to search for and book flights, accommodation and even rental cars at event venues directly on the platform. According to the company, such a comprehensive calendar, which can be viewed centrally on Orderfox.com, is unique within the CNC industry.
