App for Connected Services
The market launch of the ThingWorx Asset Advisor app for service was announced at the PTC Forum Europe in Stuttgart. According to the manufacturer, this is used for remote monitoring and remote maintenance of devices in use.
A special version of the ThingWorx Asset Advisor app for production managers was launched back in June 2017. The ThingWorx Asset Advisor App, developed specifically for service, is based on the leading industrial innovation platform ThingWorx and is a role-based application for service managers and technicians.
According to the manufacturer, the app is quick to implement, flexibly scalable and customizable. Service organizations thus benefit from faster value creation. The app offers transparency about networked devices with important role-related information, as well as an insight into the operating status of the devices and alerts in the event of malfunctions, and enables remote maintenance of the networked devices.
