Yamaha Robotics joins forces in Europe
Yamaha Robotics Corporation has integrated its European office, the "Apic Yamada German Liaison Office (AGL)", into the European subsidiary of Yamaha Motor as of January 1, 2026. The new organizational model now combines the AGL with the "YAMAHA MOTOR EUROPE N.V. German Branch Office, Robotics Business (YME)".
With the integration, Yamaha Robotics is pursuing the goal of significantly expanding its business with semiconductor back-end processes - the so-called SEMI area - in Europe. At the same time, YME will now offer complete total solutions ranging from the assembly of electronic components (SMT) to industrial robots (FA) and semiconductor back-end processes.
The restructuring is also intended to strengthen local sales and services. Building on the previous information procurement and sales support provided by the former AGL office, synergies between the SMT, FA and SEMI divisions will be used to further increase the company's presence on the European market.
