Single pair Ethernet cables for high mechanical loads in drag chains & robots
The increasing networking and communication of system components requires ever larger volumes of data that must be transmitted reliably, even under the most difficult conditions.
SAB Bröckskes quickly recognized these requirements and the demand from industrial users for end-to-end Ethernet (IIoT) right down to the smallest production level, including sensors and actuators, and developed robust and economical solutions at an early stage. With the new CATLine SPE cable series, SAB Bröckskes offers solutions for various areas of application.
Areas of application
Single Pair Ethernet can be used for different applications and various industries. The type of application is decisive in the development of SPE cables. For example, Single Pair Ethernet cables can be used for fixed installation, for moving applications and for highly flexible applications.
In addition to the CATLine C-Track, a single-pair Ethernet cable with drag chain capability, SAB has developed a robot-compatible SPE cable with UL approval - CATLine SPE Robot- especially for the increasing data transmission rates in automation.
SAB Bröckskes joined the SPE network at an early stage and would like to help establish SPE technology on the international market and initiate new fields of application in the various industries. To this end, the cable specialist from Viersen has developed a complete product range for various applications:
CATLine SPE C-Track - Single Pair Ethernet cable, suitable for drag chains
CATLine SPE Robot - Single Pair Ethernet cable, suitable for robots
CATLine SPE HT - Single-pair Ethernet cable, high temperature resistant
