New ecosystem
Automation Anywhere, software provider for robotic process automation (RPA), is launching a digital worker ecosystem.
Companies can expand their workforce with digital personas, which have task-oriented, cognitive and analytical skills to automate repetitive tasks. Customers can download the digital workers from the Bot Store and adapt them to their individual processes.
While software bots are usually task or process-oriented, Automation Anywhere 's digital workers are geared towards human ways of working. They are designed to augment human employees in specific business functions across a range of industries. Some examples of digital workers in the Bot Store include a digital accounts payable clerk, digital talent sourcer and digital IT operations engineer. Companies are thus able to expand their level of automation and integrate AI into their business processes.
The company plans to develop several hundred new cross-industry digital employee roles over the next year.
