With adjustable forces

AMF offers a modular gripper for the machine tool.

According to the company, the advantage of the new gripper system is that machining processes on machine tools can be automated without the need for a robot. The gripper has a Weldon shaft and can be inserted fully automatically like a tool from the machine tool magazine. It can therefore place workpieces weighing up to 8 kg on the machine table for machining.

The prism-shaped gripper inserts can be rotated. The gripper is actuated via the machine spindle, either hydraulically with cooling lubricant or pneumatically by applying compressed air. The gripping forces of the jaws are infinitely adjustable from 250 to 1,000 N in the hydraulic mode and between 200 and 700 N in the pneumatic mode.
