Gripping and turning unit

Andrea Gillhuber,

For drums and reels up to 60 kg

The Danish company Hovmand has developed a new gripping and rotating unit for its mobile and battery-powered industrial lifts.

The QC3 has been designed for gripping, lifting and turning drums and packaging on reels up to 60 kg and is available as a reel and drum gripper for two new versions of the Impact 130 (pictured) and Inox 90 lifter models.

With the new Impact 130-3 aluminum and Inox 90-3 stainless steel lifts, the company says it has dispensed with functions that are not absolutely necessary for the use of the QC3. For example, the Inox 90-3 does not have double adjustable lifting speeds, which has reduced its own weight by up to 20 percent and therefore also the costs.
