Coupling gripper
Flange facilitates insertion work
Because a great deal of adjustment was previously required when inserting pins into small parts, Gimatic has expanded its AGG series of coupling grippers. The AGG21-BF has a screw-on flange that is precisely toleranced in shape and position to the bushing embedded in the tool. The series is used for the exact docking and positioning of robots or handling systems on tools. This is necessary when tightly toleranced metal inserts need to be precisely positioned in the mold before the plastic is injected.
The coupling gripper makes it easier to carry out precise insertion work. It can set up precisely from the zero position. Gimatic offers three versions: The AGG21-B and AGG30-B are double-acting versions with a safety spring, which ensures that the gripper remains coupled in the event of an air failure. The single-acting AGG19-B is equipped with a return spring. The easy-to-install grippers are used in the plastic injection molding industry and in handling. They are also suitable as a zero-point clamping system in assembly technology. am
