Embedded World Exhibition & Conference

The world of embedded technologies 2019

Embedded hardware and software is becoming more important in the production environment than ever before. Be it in image processing, edge computing or network technology. Many interesting innovations can therefore be expected at the industry meeting point "Embedded World" at the end of February in Nuremberg.

From February 26 to 28, electronics specialists, developers from industry and research as well as users from a wide range of sectors will meet at Embedded World in Nuremberg. Once again this year, the trade fair offers the opportunity to find out about innovations, exchange ideas and maintain and establish contacts. More than 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries will be presenting all facets of embedded technologies - from components, modules and complete systems to operating systems and software, hardware and software tools and services relating to embedded systems.

This year's trade fair will focus on miniaturization combined with ever-increasing computing power and the communication of networked systems. The security of electronic systems, distributed intelligence, the Internet of Things and future topics such as e-mobility and energy efficiency are the main focal points.

Divided into the product groups hardware, tools, system software and services, Embedded World offers everything the industry needs. As in the industry, the topics of safety and security also play an important role at the trade fair. In the special "safety & security area", visitors can find out how embedded systems can be protected against attacks, how attack paths can be monitored and how hardware and software for embedded solutions can be designed securely.

Congresses with a wealth of expertise

Safety and security are also topics in the panel discussions and at the congress accompanying the trade fair. In addition to the familiar discussion platforms "Safe for the Future" and "embedded Vison", this year there will also be two new panels on the topics of "RISC-V" and "Embedded Intelligence".

The "embedded world Conference" and "electronic displays Conference", organized by Weka Fachmedien, will take place again this year. Over two days, the first event will focus on future-oriented technologies and solutions as well as concepts for efficient development - from autonomous vehicles, image recognition and embedded vision systems to preventive and on-demand maintenance in Industry 4.0 systems, from small computers to high-performance cloud servers.

Now in its 33rd edition, the electronic displays Conference will focus on display technologies, the supply chain, display components and market overviews. The conference offers numerous specialist presentations on all these topics and, as always, the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts from development, production and business.

Last year, 32,217 trade visitors gathered information from the 1,021 exhibitors at Embedded World. The organizers are also confident for this year. In any case, the stand space at the current edition of the trade fair has increased once again.
