The manufacturer ads tec aims to demonstrate design and quality with the VMT9000 series. The operating devices are available in four-to-three and widescreen formats and are equipped with the latest Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB, Linux and Igel operating systems and are available in 10.4, 12.1 and 15-inch sizes.
The compact design enables use in confined spaces. The series is equipped with the latest PC technology and is fully dustproof and protected against powerful water jets in accordance with IP66. The devices can withstand temperatures from minus 30 to 60 degrees Celsius indoors and outdoors and are equipped with impact-resistant panes in accordance with protection class IK08 as well as scratch and abrasion-resistant surfaces. Thanks to the sturdy die-cast aluminum housing, they can be used flexibly on forklifts and vehicles. For better readability in sunlight, the devices are equipped with sunlight readable displays as standard.
The customer can choose between a resistive industrial touchscreen or a PCAP multi-touch display; it can be adjusted for operation with gloves. An integrated brightness sensor ensures automatic control of the display lighting in changing ambient light. A proximity sensor is integrated for driver detection, which automatically dims the display when the driver leaves the vehicle, thus optimizing the forklift's energy consumption. The integrated UPS function ensures uninterrupted operation, even when the forklift battery is being replaced.
A wide-range power supply unit for 12, 24 or 48-volt vehicle electrical systems has been integrated for connection to different vehicles. An external WLAN antenna can be connected for a stable WLAN connection; optionally also via WWAN and GPS if no WLAN is available. RFID user recognition ensures access to data. pb
