Laserhub at the Euroblech

Start-up celebrates premiere with online procurement platform

The young technology company Laserhub, which launched its digital procurement platform for sheet metal parts around a year ago, will now be represented at the trade fair for the sheet metal working industry for the first time.

The start-up is showcasing the latest version of its vertically integrated online procurement platform "Laserhub.de" at Euroblech and demonstrating the latest innovations. With its offer of a vertically integrated online procurement platform, Laserhub goes beyond the functions of classic marketplaces, where companies still have to carry out many steps themselves. Laserhub.de enables an intelligent check of individual customer orders and their linking with currently available production resources in the market within a few seconds - including immediate calculation and pricing.

The vertically integrated, cross-manufacturer procurement platform for drawing-specific sheet metal parts enables companies to place their orders for laser and bent parts with just a few clicks. A fully automated process checks the CAD drawings for feasibility in no time at all, calculates prices and identifies the best producer depending on how quickly the order needs to be executed.

Ordering processes simplified, interfaces for major customers
At Euroblech, the company will be showing how the platform has developed over the past year and which new functions will be made available. In future, customers will be able to submit their inquiries or orders even more quickly and easily. Customers now have the option of uploading a structured CSV file with all production-relevant parameters together with their CAD files. Within a few seconds, the information contained in the CSV file is read out and processed on the platform, meaning that production parameters no longer need to be entered for the calculation. This leads to immense time savings, especially for many items. In addition, the CSV file can be generated directly from the ERP and ordering systems.

With another innovation that Laserhub is currently working on, the automated inquiry and ordering process will go a decisive step further. The company will soon be providing interfaces to the established procurement systems. Large series can then be processed efficiently via Laserhub. In addition to automated requests for quotations and orders, customers will benefit in particular from digital supplier management. Laserhub coordinates and manages the producers of the components and ensures punctual delivery and continuous further development of the producers.

The Laserhub team is responsible for the overall process and product quality and remains the sole contractual and contact partner for customers. The platform enables companies to speed up their procurement of laser and bent parts and reduce their process costs by up to 70 percent. as
