Software company Membrain remains on course for success
The Munich-based software company Membrain also recorded double-digit sales growth in 2019 due to increased demand for digitalization projects.
Munich-based Membrain, a software manufacturer for the development of business apps and standard SAP modules, once again achieved double-digit sales growth last year. The expansion of the product portfolio and the increasing implementation of digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects are the reasons for Membrain's growth.
According to the company, intensive involvement in the area of SAP Fiori apps also ensured additional growth. Thanks to the new SAP SDK for iOS and Android, app projects were implemented in a short space of time, driven by the increased demand for mobile SAP processes. In addition, Membrain Switzerland was founded near Lucerne last year as part of the internationalization process.
Digitalization topics have arrived in German companies. The main driver of digitalization projects is increasing efficiency. However, this is also supported by demographic change, the shortage of skilled workers and real-time requirements.
