Weco is now offering the new Series 308 blade terminal solutions. The flat plug distribution strips are available in 1 to 16-pole versions and are suitable for use in household appliances, instantaneous water heaters or motorhomes.
According to the manufacturer, the 308 series impresses with its minimal connection space, different connection configurations and compact design. Weco offers the new blade terminal versions with and without screw connection for quick and safe access to the contacts. The robust blade terminal solutions are specially designed for environments in which high currents and voltages are used and potentials need to be distributed to several locations. Individual pin assignment and a fixed pin designation on the side of the housing are possible on customer request.
The new 308 series comprises a total of seven new flat plug distribution strips in the basic version. They are supplemented by further variants made of a glass fiber reinforced housing material, which, in addition to higher temperature stability, also meets the glow wire test according to the household appliance standard. The bridging option for doubling the connections per phase is also possible with the new flat plug distribution strips.
"Our new 308 series is the logical extension of our flat connector range and specifically the addition to our 307 series distribution strips for even larger and insulation-safe voltage distributions," explains Detlef Fritsch, Managing Director of Weco. Insulation is also possible with a higher mating density and a 60-degree mating angle thanks to a high insulation wall. "With this product series, which is used by customers such as Liebherr, the Hymer Group, Stiebel Eltron and Viessmann, we are currently the only supplier on the market," says Detlef Fritsch. as
