Rent MES as cloud software
The MES provider Symestic GmbH is expanding its cloud-based "Software as a Service (SaaS)" offering. The SaaS-based "order control" functionality is new.
It ensures the correct sequence and is used to monitor and analyze multi-stage and non-linear work processes. The application gives the user an overview of the quality, variant and sequence. Among other things, the web-based technology supports the configuration and graphical modeling of the production process. The application is based on the international MES standard ISA 95. symestic's solution is geared towards batch-oriented variant production. It enables the manual entry of production orders as well as the transfer of production orders from a higher-level ERP or PPS when controlling the orders through the intended production process. An interface to a detailed production planning tool (APS) is also integrated. "Order Control" will be available with the release at the end of March 2020 and follows on from the recently launched SaaS product "Production Key Figures".
