MES module as a stand-alone solution
Platform for digital store floor management
Gefasoft now offers the digital store floor management of the MES Legato Sapient as a stand-alone solution. The dSFM platform is offered as a cloud model or as software as a service.
One key to higher production at lower costs is increasing OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). Digital store floor management (dSFM) can make a decisive contribution to this. All relevant data from production is collected centrally by the dSFM platform, processed and visualized using graphics with drill-down options.
Problems can thus be identified more quickly and targeted improvement measures can be introduced, for example to increase system availability. Bottlenecks in the production process can also be identified and eliminated more easily.
The software also supports manufacturing companies on their way to higher product quality. Pre-product defects, negligence by employees on the shop floor or machine defects are uncovered by placing available data in an overall context and evaluating it. Individually definable KPIs make it easier to identify trends and cross-plant comparisons help the company management to better align and follow the course.
The dSFM platform can be used both as a stand-alone module and in conjunction with the MDE/BDE functions of the Legato Sapient MES. Information from third-party systems can also be integrated and used for analyses. as
