Performance upgrade of the Panel PCs
For machines with a long service life, the availability of the operating devices must also be guaranteed for a long time. The upgrade of the OT1300 product series from Bachmann brings hardware and software up to a future-proof level and takes compatibility with existing models into account. The panel PCs have sixth-generation Intel processors and the Windows Embedded Standard 7 or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system.
With the OT1300, the software is integrated into the hardware. The entire system is endurance-tested for 24/7 operation - this also includes web visualization via OPC UA. The upgrade of the panel PC is complemented by the mechanically robust design for ambient temperatures of up to 60 °C and the pre-installed browser with on-screen keyboard. Together, this provides a web-enabled overall solution with a focus on long-term availability. am
