The ability to quickly check the status of machines is becoming increasingly important for machine manufacturers and end users. However, complete IIoT solutions are often too complex, time-consuming and expensive to implement. With M2Web, HMS offers a service that is free of charge for all Ewon Cosy and Flexy products that are registered in the Talk2M remote maintenance portal.

With M2Web, users can easily access the key figures of remote machines. Access is via the Ewon Cosy and Flexy products and allows users to connect to the machines via HMI, web server or PC, panel. M2Web requires no software installation - the user only needs to open a standard browser. The information is displayed in M2Web in a modern graphical interface. A map view provides an overview of all machines in the field.

The new KPI feature provides users with information on the status and performance of connected machines. Users can set up to six metrics by selecting parameters in the tag database of each Ewon Flexy. The status of the metrics is displayed visually: Blue for normal status, yellow for warning, red for alarm.

The advantage for machine manufacturers is that they can monitor the key figures of all their machines centrally in one place. But end users also benefit. A machine builder can make M2Web available to end users, so that every end user can use M2Web as a simple monitoring tool, including a clear display of all machines connected on site

Based on the proven Talk2M remote maintenance portal from HMS, M2Web offers machine manufacturers, end users - and their system integrators - the opportunity to access their installations via PC, tablet or smartphone. The information provided in M2Web helps to avoid production downtimes and improve efficiency. as
