The M12 Mini from Provertha is the most compact M12 cable connector for space-saving fieldbus connection. The M12 cable gland has a length of just 44 millimetres with an outer diameter of 16/14 millimetres.
Despite this, the connector offers a large cable clamping range of four to nine millimeters, according to the company. The special full metal housing is designed to ensure effective shielding with high EMC. At the same time, a solid, fully shielded strain relief is provided. The M12 Mini ensures compact, safe and reliable data/signal transmission.
The M12 cable connector is available in the codings A-5, A-8, B and D. It is easy to assemble thanks to the small number of individual parts. The M12 locking nut with hexagonal combination knurl makes it easy to tighten the screw connection to a defined torque. The individual wires (wire cross-section AWG 18 - 28) are connected via turned crimp snap-in contacts. The current carrying capacity is specified at four amperes (two amperes for A-8) and the contact resistance at less than five milliohms. The degree of protection is IP67 (screw-locked).
The M12 Mini can be used in temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 85 degrees Celsius and enables more than 250 mating cycles. as
