High-contrast prints

Legible blue, black or yellow from Bluhm

The inkjet printers in the Linx 89 series from Bluhm have been further developed. The result: the printers can now print legibly on products and packaging even with weakly pigmented inks. The colors black, blue and yellow are available.

At the same time, a new ink service module and a new print head are available for the systems. Adjustments have also been made to the software. The new features make the Linx printers highly versatile. Above all in the electronics industry, the plastics sector, the automotive industry and the consumer goods and food sectors. Unlike many other comparable printing solutions, the Linx printers do not require a mechanical agitator to achieve consistently high-contrast printing results with the pigmented inks, according to the manufacturer. While the jet is running or the printer is printing, the ink is automatically mixed in the new service module by the ink flow alone. Each time the jet starts, the mixing cycle also starts automatically. This means that, unlike other printer models, the printer prints with consistently high contrast even after downtimes of up to four weeks from the first print. In addition, the new print head does not need to be cleaned every one to two weeks on average, but only every six weeks. sw
