More wiring space

The new high grommet and socket housings of the Heavycon Standard B connector series from Phoenix Contact are particularly suitable for modular applications, the manufacturer announced.

They offer more space for wiring thanks to their taller design and larger cable outlets in M50. This means that larger cable diameters and cable bundles can also be conveniently connected. The robust die-cast aluminum housings are corrosion-resistant. They withstand vibration and mechanical loads and are reliably sealed in accordance with protection classes IP66/IP67. Conductive surfaces and seals also provide reliable EMC protection. The high connectors are available in sizes B6 to B24 and are fully plug-compatible with the market standard. With the new matching contact inserts for high-pole applications, up to 46 signal contacts can be easily connected in a B24 connector. Installation is direct and tool-free with push-in connection technology. as
