Harting opens new production facility in Poland

Harting has opened a production facility near the Polish city of Bydgoszcz. Here, the subsidiary Harting Customized Solutions (HCS) now manufactures customer-specific products and solutions for machine and plant engineering.

The production facility was officially opened by CEO Philip Harting and Andreas Conrad, Chief Operations Officer, Christian Schumacher, Managing Director of Harting Customized Solutions (HCS), and Mariusz Matejczyk, Managing Director of Harting Polska.

Harting has been represented in Poland since September 2007. The opening of the production facility was the next logical step, as the country is a predestined location in many respects, as Philip Harting went on to explain.

Poland has seen excellent economic development in recent years, especially since the beginning of this decade, which could serve as a model for other regions in Europe. The unemployment rate is low compared to other countries, as is the inflation rate. Economic growth is robust and public debt is falling. "These figures speak for themselves and made the decision to manufacture in this country very easy for us," said the CEO. as
