Getac notebook
For professionals in the manufacturing and automotive industry
Getac announces the launch of the next generation of its S410, a versatile, configurable, semi-rugged notebook designed specifically for manufacturing and automotive professionals in demanding work environments.
The S410 offers all-day performance, a brilliant display and improved memory and processor performance. Key features include 11th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processors with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, standard PCIe NVMe SSD and removable storage.
An Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 module supporting the IEEE 802.11ax standard is also on board, which enables flawless streaming of high-resolution videos, fewer connection interruptions and faster access to more distant WLAN routers. Thunderbolt 4 technology ensures fast data transfer with easier data exchange with other devices. The significantly brighter display (up to 1,000 nits) together with LumiBond 2.0 ensures good readability outdoors, even in bright sunlight. In addition, the S410 runs on up to three hot-swappable batteries, ensuring shift changes without downtime. The backlit keyboard makes working in low light easier, while the larger touchpad is user-friendly and ensures fewer input errors.
The notebook is MIL-STD-810H-certified, can withstand drops from up to 1 m and works at temperatures from -29 to 63 °C. In accordance with protection class IP53, it can also be used in dust and light rain.
Flexibility for production
The S410 allows a variety of input options: by pen, finger and with gloves. This makes it suitable for use in workshops and production facilities. Its design, including a sturdy carrying handle, offers high mobility and the various configuration options support new and older I/O ports for fast industrial computing operations and high workloads in factory automation.
The notebook is compatible with the latest automotive diagnostic software and offers wired and wireless connectivity, including Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201, which enables real-time access to on-board diagnostics and high-speed vehicle testing. For research and development within the automotive industry and for R&D engineers who need fast, accurate data acquisition, the S410 is equally suited to vehicle diagnostics and testing in a wide range of environments.
The S410 is part of the Getac Select program, which combines pre-configured (semi-)rugged devices, software, accessories and professional service into a complete solution - optimized for both individual applications and user groups. Getac Driving Safety Utility and Getac Device Monitoring System (GDMS) are also available as central software utilities.
With its comprehensive pre-configured options, the S410 is particularly suitable for requirements in industrial production and the automotive industry, both on the factory floor and in the field.
Optimized runtime and reliability with GDMS device monitoring
The Device Monitoring System (GDMS) helps companies maintain the working efficiency of their devices. As a software solution and part of the Getac Select program, GDMS monitors Getac devices in use and detects potential problems before they affect the workflows of personnel on site, significantly reducing downtime.
