Under the motto "Vision with Embedded Value", the company will offer not only cameras, embedded vision kits and software solutions, but also services such as consulting, development and production. In addition to vision solutions, Basler's range of solutions will continue to include its broad product portfolio. Following the introduction of embedded vision kits based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820, Basler is expanding its product range to include kits based on NXP's i.MX8 processor family.

Basler presented its new embedded vision kits for the first time at Embedded World, where it showed the possibilities offered by embedded vision solutions in the form of live demos. The new dart BCON for MIPI 13 MP camera module for applications requiring high resolution was also presented. With these new products, the manufacturer can serve more use cases directly and they expand its range of processing platforms, performance classes and camera sensors.
