Erni builds new company headquarters in Virginia
Erni has laid the foundation stone for a modern production and distribution building in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The new building will house production and the company headquarters in the USA. The opening is planned for December 2019.
Erni is expanding its production capacity in the USA with the new production building. Connector products for the US and global markets will be produced there. With this significant expansion, the company aims to create around 105 new jobs next year.
Erni is a supplier of high-performance connector products for automotive electronics and industrial automation. The new building will also house the company's headquarters in the USA. The multi-purpose building complex at Waterford Business Park will include manufacturing, administration and training facilities on a new campus of around 4.5 hectares.
"With its new facility in Virginia, the Erni Group is significantly expanding its manufacturing capacity for the local and global market to meet high market demand," said Rudolf Hausladen, CEO of the Group.
