Software platform
Embedded programming for beginners
Hainzl offers hardware products for electronic OEM applications. The Linz-based family business has now developed a software platform adapted to the hardware.
With the software platform (middleware) adapted to the hardware, the Linz-based system provider from the port district provides a cost-optimized, Linux-based platform. This makes it possible for experienced OEM users to program customer-specific software sequences and visualizations quickly and easily. With a variety of functions, such as user control, menu navigation, databases, web server or multilingualism, the complete solution offers an advantage over conventional programming systems, the company promises.
Animated displays, video output or multi-touch functions are standard on all smartphones today; the simple implementation of the most complex visualizations is also supported by the basic system functions of the middleware. The automatic scaling of the software platform enables the user to create responsive displays on different end devices.
Hainzl supports many common interfaces (USB, Ethernet, RS485, CAN or CAN-Open, Modbus RTU/TCP) with various protocol stacks. Remote maintainability in distributed systems is also provided by the Linz-based family business through its own server-based platform. In addition, there is a communication concept that enables simple plug-and-play installation of remote access to the system. Sophisticated software update functions for distributed systems round off the service provided by the full-service provider from Upper Austria.
Training courses tailored to the respective application purpose make it easy for even inexperienced newcomers to gain an overview and get to grips with the basic Hainzl system. Once the first steps have been taken, competent support is available for further software development. as
