Baudis IoT is the Baumüller tool for the diagnosis and optimization of processes and machines. It is designed for two application scenarios: to reduce downtimes due to unplanned service cases and to optimize processes and machine utilization. Baudis IoT collects data via decentralized sensors, for example on the drive, or by accessing other electrical or mechanical components. The data can then be evaluated directly by the operator or transferred to the cloud.

Certified remote maintenance
Baumüller offers a solution for secure remote access to machines and systems with Ubiquity, one of the first software products in the field of industrial remote maintenance that has been certified in accordance with IEC 62443-3-3 and therefore meets the requirements of the basic protection catalog of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). With Ubiquity, Baumüller enables secure and simple access to machines worldwide without any separate hardware.

Space in the control cabinet
With its new b maxx 5800 multi-axis controller, Baumüller is also presenting a compact solution for controlling up to six drive axes. By combining several axes in one device, the machine builder not only saves space in the control cabinet, but also benefits from less wiring work and significantly faster communication, as no separate fieldbus connections are required, thus eliminating fieldbus dead times. A special feature of the bmaxx 5800 is that it can be configured completely individually. The user can select exactly the right axis performance for each individual axis and thus obtain a device that exactly meets the requirements of their application. With optional safety packages, all devices in the b-maxx 5000 series can be adapted to individual safety requirements.

The decentralized drive b maxx 2500 is particularly suitable for packaging machines and filling systems with many individual drives. The compact drive with integrated electronics is suitable for a power range of up to around 6.5 kilowatts and has integrated safety technology. Thanks to a large number of supported fieldbus systems and a flexible installation position, the b maxx 2500 offers machine builders a high degree of freedom in design and enables the implementation of customized machine solutions.
