Connectors for modular energy storage systems
Harting presents Han S, a new safe connection technology for modular battery storage systems. The housings offer space for contacts up to 200 amps.
The add-on housing can be rotated freely and the locking mechanism is intuitive. The red for plus and black for minus color scheme with additional mechanical coding makes it impossible to confuse the interfaces. According to the manufacturer, Han S offers the user optimum safety because the design complies with all technical requirements and the latest UL 4128 standard for stationary energy storage systems. The new connectors therefore meet the highest level of standardization required on the international market. The use of connectors accelerates the assembly of energy storage systems from lithium-ion cells. Han S is designed to enable standard-compliant and fast contacting. as
