Stäubli at the Automatica
Connection solutions for robotics
With the new Robifix-Mini connector, Stäubli Electrical Connectors is presenting a solution for high-frequency welding technology at Automatica. Stäubli Robotics will also be celebrating a world premiere with the TS2-Scara series.
The smallest member of the Robifix family can be easily integrated into modern lightweight construction concepts thanks to its compact and lightweight design and weight reduction, and is also suitable for mounting on narrow robot arms or small welding guns. Robifix-Mini can be assembled by hand and is ideal for reducing downtimes and maintenance costs, for example in the body shop. Stäubli promises good contact reliability thanks to the Multilam technology. The integrated contact protection ensures safety.
Another focus is on connector systems for automation technology. The multi-pole Dockingline connectors for multi-couplings and automatic docking systems can be used for up to one million mating cycles. The modular Combitac system enables the individual combination of power and control contacts, thermocouples, coaxial contacts, fiber optics, pneumatic, hydraulic and Ethernet contacts in a compact connector and thus offers flexibility in the creation of application-specific interfaces.
The coupling specialists from Stäubli Fluid Connectors will be presenting the complete range of tool changing systems for robots for the first time in Munich. With MPS Complete, MPS Modular and MPS Customized, three different solution options are available thanks to which an optimum changing system can be found for every task.
Stäubli Robotics is also celebrating a world premiere in Munich with the TS2 Scara series. Thanks to JCS drive technology, the four-axis robots come with a closed housing structure and internal cabling. as
