This was discussed at SPS 2023. The industry-neutral standard of the asset administration shell, which ensures cross-manufacturer interoperability and enables end-to-end value chains, serves as the basis. In the new product catalog for industrial hydraulics, interested parties can already find native 3D models for various CAD systems for many products in the Rexroth portfolio. This reduces the time required to search for and insert the 3D models of the products into the respective development environment by up to two thirds. As a member of the Industrial Digital Twin Association (IDTA), Bosch Rexroth is involved in the standardization of data exchange and is actively participating in the further development of the asset administration shell; the 3D CAD submodel will make it possible in future to provide CAD models directly or linked in the asset administration shell.
