Browser-based user interface for inspection control

With Isra's new browser-based user interface, it is possible to efficiently control and monitor many lines and the associated optical inspection systems centrally in a production environment.

Many manufacturers in the plastics industry are faced with the challenge of keeping an eye on many lines in their plants, each with a separate inspection system. In the traditional form, each system is equipped with a control cabinet and a control panel, each of which is controlled individually and manually. This requires time and coordination.

Isra's browser-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) connects all lines to a single server PC. This makes it possible to access the system from a control center as required. This can be done via all common end devices and in real time, whether via laptop, smartphone, tablet or desktop PC. In a fictitious production hall in which 25 lines are equipped with inspection systems, the tool shows precisely which line has a problem. An employee can now go specifically to this position and access the system and the line using a QR code on their mobile device. Many individual control cabinets and stations are no longer necessary, saving space and costs.

Not only the individual employee, but also the shift supervisor or the manager responsible for production, for example, can use the browser-based GUI to get an exact picture of the situation. Quick corrections on the line are therefore possible, and all modularized production components can be controlled directly - making film inspection more flexible than ever before. The user interface has a modern design and is inspired by the latest developments, divided into various apps. It is also individually customizable and can therefore be used flexibly.

According to the manufacturer, the tool works reliably from day one: Even harsh production environments do not affect efficiency. Detection results appear in real time as images on the operator's handheld display. Due to its high classification performance, the system immediately presents the corresponding error type in addition to the position of the error and provides a full overview of the error types that occur and their causes. These are thus quickly identified and eliminated, ensuring high process efficiency. Data reports and statistical evaluation tools support effective fault prevention. The utilization of production and quality data for analysis actively helps to reduce costs. All data is stored for later analysis and evaluation. In this way, manufacturers automatically document the exact quality produced for their customers or the subsequent process step. as
