Recovery media from operating system providers only allow the operating system to be reinstalled, but not the customer-specific functionality. With Waxar ImageStick, these downtimes can be shortened enormously, as the system operator can restore the production-relevant data quickly and independently. After delivery of the system, the plant manufacturer or operator creates the backup on the Waxar ImageStick. To restore the data, the stick is inserted into the USB port of the IPC and the system is restarted. The restore is initiated automatically and the system shuts down automatically when the process is complete. The stick is then removed. After the restart, the system is in the delivery state with all specific adjustments and is immediately ready for operation.
