New laser system with integrated camera
Cameo Laser Franz Hagemann will be presenting the new Fusion Pro laser system from Epilog Laser with camera-supported workpiece and fiducial recognition in Leipzig.
For advertising technicians, promotional product finishers and manufacturers of fan merchandise and club supplies, the laser is an important aid in production. It can be used to mark, engrave, personalize and cut products and materials. At this year's unique 4+1 at the Leipzig Exhibition Center, Cameo will be presenting the new Fusion Pro model from laser manufacturer Epilog, USA. "With the Fusion Pro 48, we can now offer a laser system with a working area of 1,219 x 914 millimetres," says Steffen Jesper, Sales Manager of the Cameo Competence Centers in Leipzig and Berlin. The model is available as a CO2 laser, fiber laser or as a dual system with both laser sources.
The standard version includes a camera-supported workpiece and fiducial recognition system with the Iris system. The camera captures the entire laser interior and the workpiece inside. The design can now be precisely positioned on the material visible in the video and then output. "This is an advantage, especially when engraving materials with varying dimensions and shapes, such as natural materials," says Jesper.
The models also have fast motors that allow acceleration of up to 5G during engraving. "The increased dust protection of the mechanics and lens as well as autofocus using a button and input of the material height are just some of the new features," continues Jesper. The device can be used flexibly, which makes it valuable for advertising and engraving technology as well as for textile, photography and trophy finishing. as
