Measuring devices with ATEX2 approval

Particle monitors for potentially explosive atmospheres

With the LPM-II-CX, Stauff presents the next generation of stationary particle measuring devices with ATEX2 approval in accordance with EC product directive 94/9/EC.

The robust housing is designed to hermetically seal off potentially explosive environments from the internal electronics of the particle measuring device.

Thanks to a special housing and connection design, they are said to be suitable for permanent installation in potentially explosive areas (zone 2 / category 3G). The device fulfills all safety-relevant requirements for use in the oil and gas industry or in chemical and process engineering, for example. The variant now presented has a large display on the front, which allows the measured values to be read in real time. Particle monitors from the LPM-II series - with or without ATEX2 approval - enable the continuous determination and classification of the degree of contamination of synthetic and mineral oil-based fluids, diesel and petroleum in 8 size channels between 4 μm(c) and 70 μm(c) in accordance with ISO 4406:1999 and other international standards. Devices compatible with specific water glycols, phosphate esters and other aggressive media are available as an option, as are integrated water-in-oil and temperature sensors. sw
