Submersible pumps
New models at Nordbau
Essen-based pump specialist Söndgerath Pumpen is presenting two submersible pumps from the new P series at Nordbau. These are the P 475 and the P 675. Together with other models still to be introduced, they form the extension of the existing P 215 to P 455 series.
The new pump series is suitable for pumping abrasive waste water in construction, industry, municipalities, mining and tunnel construction. Depending on the model, maximum delivery heads of over 40 m and flow rates of up to 2,700 l/minute can be achieved. The maximum immersion depth is 10 m. The pumps are equipped with motors from 7.5 to 15 kW, all of which require three-phase alternating current. They are each available in a 50 Hz and a 60 Hz version. The two models presented achieve a maximum delivery head of 41.5 and 30 m respectively. The maximum flow rates are 1,800 or 2,700 l/minute, depending on the version. They each weigh 90 kg.
The pressure outlet of both pumps can be adjusted within a range of 90° between horizontal and vertical and thus adapted to the respective conditions on site. No special tools are required to maintain the submersible pumps.
All Söndgerath pumps with three-phase connection can be monitored remotely. The Noltanet platform is used for this purpose. It offers comprehensive networking of all types of machines with motor protection plugs. The Noltanet plugs can transmit data to a terminal device, such as operating status or fault messages. They can also display the location or operating hours. This makes it possible, for example, to set up a virtual fence - known as geofencing - which sounds an alarm if the monitored device is removed from a defined area.
