Mann+Hummel: preliminary business figures for 2017
Filtration expert Mann+Hummel has presented its preliminary key figures for the 2017 financial year. The Group achieved a turnover of 3.9 billion euros, thus reaching its own forecast from July 2017. The filter manufacturer will provide details on the result at the presentation of the balance sheet on April 25 in Ludwigsburg.
"This year, we will continue to drive forward the realignment of the company. In addition to the automotive and industrial business, we will step up the pace in the newly created Life Sciences & Environment division. This will enable us to position ourselves even more broadly in the attractive filtration market in the coming years," says Alfred Weber, Chairman of the Management Board.
The company intends to further strengthen its competitiveness; on the one hand through acquisitions to open up new markets and on the other hand through further measures to increase efficiency. As part of its realignment, Mann+Hummel is focusing intensively on alternative drives, sustainability and digitalization. In January 2018, the company presented its wide range of connected products and innovative services for the first time at the leading technology trade fair CES (Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas/USA). The new digital air filter monitor "Senzit" was awarded the CES Innovation Award there. kp
