Compressed air and vacuum technology is constantly being digitalized, but is digitalization really the panacea when it comes to sustainability and energy efficiency? The international CEO panel on compressed air and vacuum technology at Hannover Messe 2023 will provide answers to this question.

No industrial company can avoid the topic of energy management anymore. The pandemic and the war in Ukraine have once again highlighted the importance of digitalization, particularly with regard to sustainability and transparency. Manufacturers of compressed air and vacuum technology have long been pioneers, but users are not yet utilizing the full efficiency of the systems.

At the CEO panel on compressed air and vacuum technology at the Hannover Messe on April 20, CEOs from leading global companies in the industry will discuss the difference between theory and practice. The speakers include: Thomas Kaeser from Kaeser Kompressoren, A. Can Dirin from Lupamat Makina, Olaf Hoppe from Boge Kompressoren, Helen Landhäußer from Looxr and Klaus Peter Glöckner fromAerzener Maschinenfabrik. On behalf of the co-organizer VDMA Compressors, Compressed Air and Vacuum Technology, Christoph Singrün will provide an overview of the relevant activities.

The range of topics includes the digitalization of compressed air supply, predictive maintenance, investments for climate protection and sustainability, the hydrogen revolution and new partnerships in supply chains. The panel is aimed at managing directors of international industrial companies, specialists in compressed air and vacuum technology, plant managers, factory planners, engineers from the supply industry as well as business developers, investors, consultants and political delegations from all over the world.

The panel will take place as part of the Energy Management Day on April 20, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., on the Industrial Transformation Stage in Hall 3. Ragna Sonderleittner from the trade magazine fluid will moderate the event.
