Brake cylinder configurator
Configure oil brakes and brake cylinders online
With the new online brake cylinder configurator from ACE Stoßdämpfer, customers can design and order oil brakes and hydraulic brake cylinders for a wide range of applications.
ACE Shock Absorbers offers an online configurator to find the ideal oil brakes and hydraulic brake cylinders for a wide range of applications. Operation is simple and intuitive. This means that the selection process can be completed in just a few clicks and in a short space of time. Thanks to the connected online store, purchasing the right machine element is just another click away.
Whether you are looking for hydraulic brake cylinders from the HBS family with no free stroke or standard solutions of the various HB types from ACE with 20 percent free stroke, the configurator allows you to select parameters such as braking force range and maximum pressure force with a single click. The damping direction can also be selected via the software panel, as can add-on parts and mounting accessories. For increased transparency, users are shown the expected prices for the desired number of units at each selection step.
When it comes to speed regulation using oil brakes and hydraulic brake cylinders, up to 20 percent idle stroke can be tolerated with many solutions. The HB12 to HB70 hydraulic brake cylinders are suitable for this. In other cases, oil brakes on trolleys take on a compensating function. Thanks to a combination of oil brake and gas filling, it is possible, for example, to compensate for the inclination of an ice handbike by 10 to 15°. Overall, the HB product family covers compressive and tensile forces between 20 N and 50 kN. For high-end solutions, there is also the family of hydraulic brake cylinders with the types HBS-28 to HBS-70. These models are characterized by the fact that they work without an idle stroke. Otherwise, they work in a similar way. They offer constant feed speeds and can be finely adjusted via tooth regulation. An adjustment segment on the piston makes it easy to adjust the end positions. This enables improved speed regulation and feed control when sawing metals, for example, and prevents the damaging stick-slip effect.
The use of many DIN-standardized mounting parts facilitates assembly, making these components universally applicable. In addition to the automotive sector, where they are used on accelerator and brake pedals, for example, to ensure controllable response behavior and force feedback in drive-by-wire applications, they are primarily used in industrial applications, mechanical engineering, the electronics and furniture industries and in medical technology.
