UR goes on an information tour

It's the mixture that counts!

Robots are not only attractive for large corporations, more and more small businesses are also recognizing this. Many SMEs are therefore also turning to collaborative robots (cobots for short) for process automation. This is not surprising, as most products are characterized by a high level of user-friendliness and great flexibility. However, the robot alone does not provide a user solution. The right automation solution depends on other important components.

Only the right mix of components, such as grippers or welding tools, will lead to the desired application. The right choice of camera systems or software solutions must also be considered. During implementation, users should pay particular attention to the compatibility of the components with the robot arm and the ease of use and obtain extensive information. But the market is large - and getting started is not easy.

In order to provide an overview of the large selection, Universal Robots is going on tour together with its UR+ partners from April to July 2019. Universal Robots is thus focusing on close cooperation across the entire industry and offering users and interested parties perfectly coordinated solutions. In a total of seven cities, companies can try out the cobots and peripheral products for themselves, discuss all their questions with the robotics experts and configure their own applications on request.
