Universal Robots strengthens sales network in Germany

Universal Robots is further expanding its sales network in Germany with four new partners: Glaub Automation & Engineering, ID Ingenieure & Dienstleistungen, Samsys and Stadler.

"We are keeping a close eye on the potential for automation in Germany. Our aim is to further strengthen our partner network in order to pave the way for companies of all sizes to automate with our cobots," says Helmut Schmid, Managing Director of Universal Robots (Germany) and Regional Sales Director for Western and Northern Europe. "German SMEs in particular are currently developing a new awareness of collaborative robotics and the wide range of possible applications. A reliable network is the key to success in this situation."

Setting new standards with cobots
For Glaub, a company based in Germany and Hungary that specializes in automation and software services, the partnership with Universal Robots provides the opportunity to expand its offering for the automotive, household appliances and healthcare sectors. Not only realizing THT assembly, small parts assembly and test stations for major customers, but also implementing automation for SMEs in the areas of handling and application/dispensing with UR cobots marks an important step for Glaub: "With this partnership, we are expanding our range of services to include solutions tailored to the needs of SMEs," says Managing Director Nico Glaub.

ID Ingenieure & Dienstleistungen, another new partner of Universal Robots, develops machines and systems for the packaging industry and the consumer goods sector and specializes in special machine construction. The company is looking forward to the joint projects: "We have been following the development of Universal Robots with enthusiasm right from the start," says Managing Director Michael Gottschalk. "We see the collaborative robots from Universal Robots as an important component in the productions of the future and are therefore pleased to be able to underline our enthusiasm and trust in the cobots from UR with our partnership in the future."

Samsys is a dynamic company with numerous ideas and high-quality products. The expert in loading and unloading systems offers both standard and customized solutions to provide every company with the best possible automation solution. Comprehensive expansion of the integration network
With the new partnerships, Universal Robots is not only strengthening Germany as a production location, but is also setting the course to be able to respond to the strong demand for collaborative solutions throughout Europe. "Automation solutions are increasingly finding their way into German companies. The automotive sector in particular is playing a pioneering role here. However, smaller and medium-sized companies are also increasingly interested in practical solutions," explains Schmid. "The purchase of a cobot pays for itself within a reasonable period of time.
