Six-axis robot
A new one for the MRK
Dobot has presented its collaborative six-axis robot arm CR6-5. It is the second robot arm in the Dobot collaborative robot series. The CR6-5 offers a wide range of applications in small and medium-sized companies as well as in educational institutions.
Among other things, it is suitable for precise pick and place, sorting or motion tracking. According to the manufacturer, the arm can pick up and handle various objects and shapes using different adaptive grippers. The robotic arm can perform high-precision linear movements, which makes it versatile: from coffee preparation to work in a laboratory. The CR6-5 is ideally suited to working with humans and poses no danger to the user even in the event of a collision. Dobot robots are already being used in assembly lines in the toy and clothing industry as well as for automatic sewing applications in automotive production. The robots have also been tested for other applications in education, retail, medical treatment, clean energy and more. as
