Schnekenburger is the new CEO at Yaskawa

Yaskawa is entering the new 2019 financial year with a new management team: Manfred Stern, previously President & CEO and a member of the management team for more than eleven years, handed over operational management to Bruno Schnekenburger, previously COO of the company and previously responsible for the robotics division of Yaskawa Europe for more than four years, on March 1. Manfred Stern will continue in his role as Regional Head.

"We can look back on a decade of major changes and great economic success," explains Manfred Stern, who was the first European to be appointed to the management board of the Japanese technology group's European subsidiary in 2008.

"On the basis of recent sales of 600 million euros and more than 1900 employees, we want to set up the management in such a way that we can now initiate the next steps in our growth strategy," Stern continued. "Bruno Schnekenburger has made a significant contribution to the success of Yaskawa in Europe in recent years and is therefore ideally qualified to take over the CEO position," said Stern, who will continue to hold his position on the board of the Japanese parent company and will focus primarily on further networking with associations, social groups and politics. as
