Palletizing robot systems

300 times more automation

This year, Roteg celebrates its 25th anniversary and the sale of its 300th palletizing robot system. This reflects the rapid growth of this technology. In addition to the number of systems supplied, their technical complexity is also constantly increasing.

The company, which was founded in 1993 as an engineering office, sold its 100th robot system back in 2008, showing just how fast the technology is growing. Image: Roteg

In addition to the Paro palletizing robots, the manufacturer is also selling more and more of its own package and pallet conveyor technology and innovative special machines, such as the lifting carriage for handling both full and empty pallets. An individually adapted gripper system and the company's own paro-Control control software are also included with every robot. According to the manufacturer, all these components ensure that the palletizing process is smoother, faster and more effective. In addition, large projects with several robot systems and palletizing stations are becoming increasingly common.

To satisfy all these customers, Roteg has expanded its service department. Various service contracts can be concluded when purchasing a system and the service team is available around the clock in an emergency. In order to further optimize productivity, the Dortmund-based palletizing company will be expanding. The production area has already been extended once. Now another, larger production hall is to be built. sw
