Six-axis robot
Now also with six axles
Hirata is expanding its portfolio of industrial robots with the new AR-V series. This enables the company to equip the automation of production systems with its own robots with different kinematics in the field of special machine construction.
In future, six-axis robots will therefore be available in addition to Scara robots and linear axis systems. The AR-V series comprises three models with arm lengths of 700, 950 and 1,200 millimetres. These are designed for payloads of four to six kilograms. The basic structure of the robots ensures high rigidity, the manufacturer promises. This ensures low vibrations even at high speeds and therefore fast and precise positioning as well as reduced cycle times. Installation is supported by offline teaching with assistance functions and simulation tools. The robots work with the same operating software as all other Hirata robots. The AR-V series is particularly suitable for applications in the automotive, electrical and metalworking sectors. Equipped with the 3D picking system, the new robots are also capable of handling randomly fed components. as
