With the e-Series, Universal Robots has launched a new generation of collaborative lightweight robots. It offers users greater ease of use and an increased variety of application areas to boost production output.
Thanks to their 17 configurable safety functions, the e-Series robots can work directly next to and with humans after a successfully completed risk assessment without a protective housing. The robot arms are lightweight, space-saving and easy to use for different tasks without having to change production layouts. You can quickly switch between different applications. Once set up, programs can be saved and used for recurring tasks.
The e-Series is also quick to set up. It only takes a few hours to unpack the robot, set it up and program the first tasks. No special electrical installation is required. The e-Series can be operated with any normal power socket. An intuitive 3D user interface ensures that operators can quickly set up and control the robot without any programming experience. A lightweight, widescreen teach panel reduces the cognitive load on the user and speeds up program development. as
