Labeler and film winder in one

A new generation of the K-Label labeling solution and the K-Shuttle mobile robot cell are the focus of Kawasaki Robotics' presence at this year's trade fair.

Space-saving, flexible and easy to implement: At Fachpack, Kawasaki Robotics will be presenting new robot solutions for numerous applications that have been developed together with industry-related partners. Visitors to the trade fair will be able to see the latest generation of the automated labeling solution K-Label and the prototype of the autonomous shuttle system K-Shuttle on site.

Further development of the labeling system
As part of an integrated solution, the K-Label system is combined with a film wrapper for pallets: The pallet is automatically transported into the machine, placed and processed by the film wrapper. The labels are then applied by the K-Label system and checked by a control scanner.

The combination of both systems not only saves customers costs compared to individual solutions, but also valuable space. In addition, only one interface to the local conveyor technology and IT infrastructure is required. A joint user interface is to be added to the system in the near future.

Robot cell rides along
Also on show at Fachpack: The K-Shuttle developed by Kawasaki Robotics - flexible in use for numerous applications in production plants and storage facilities. The mobile robot cell is transported via a detachable AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) based on Knapp Open Shuttle technology. This means that the integrated Kawasaki robot is always exactly where it is needed. The Open Shuttle is able to navigate freely through its environment and avoid obstacles independently. as
