Update for Sawyer

With Intera 5.2, Rethink Robotics has further developed the operating system of the Sawyer collaborative robot. Intera 5.2 provides a better insight into business-critical data in real time and delivers key figures such as cycle time, number of parts, speed and force exerted.

The Intera Insights feature displays key performance indicators via a configurable dashboard on the robot's on-board display, making them directly available on the shop floor. The same data is also sent to the Intera Studio platform so that all members of the production team can view the data. According to Scott Eckert, President and CEO of Rethink Robotics, Intera Insights enables companies to be informed about the status of their production lines at all times.

Intera 5.2 also offers innovations for Sawyer's image processing functions. In addition to the integrated camera, which is standard on every robot, manufacturers now have the option of seamlessly integrating an external camera within minutes. This allows companies to benefit from improved camera technology and use internal vision systems more effectively. as
