In times of smart and digital automation, integrated drives are experiencing a rapid upswing due to their dynamics and flexibility. Heidrive points this out and offers specially designed drives for robot and AGV manufacturers based on a new, modular construction kit.
With the integrated drives, a 24/48 volt controller is placed directly in the motor profile, making it easy to install in a robot arm due to its compactness. By integrating the servo controllers, control cabinets can be virtually eliminated and the wiring effort reduced. The decentralized drives - with flanges of either 40 x 40, 60 x 60 or 80 x 80 millimetres - aim to impress with their performance and control capabilities. According to the manufacturer, another advantage of the integrated drives is the low cogging torque with high energy efficiency and optimized temperature management. The modern and compact drive concepts can be integrated into a wide range of automation solutions and enable flexible applications. The powerful and multifunctional motors can be used for precise handling tasks in automation technology and robotics. They are also used in production for the automotive industry. pb
