To coincide with this year's company anniversary, the company is celebrating the topping-out ceremony for the new office building on June 21. The building will house additional staff offices, a commissioning and test area for transport robots and a co-working space. The Zesys association, which focuses on promoting interdisciplinary scientific and technical research and development using embedded systems, will remain a neighbor. Insystems is combining the celebrations for the topping-out ceremony with this year's company anniversary.

Largest order in the company's history
At the beginning of this year, Insystems received an order for the largest project in the company's history. Insystems is implementing a total of nine transport robots for the Berlin site of a global razor blade manufacturer, which will ensure a fully automated material flow over several floors and at various transfer stations.

The Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick has also nominated the company for this year's "Großer Preis des Mittelstands" award. Since 1995, this prize has been awarded to companies from the SME sector for their outstanding achievements in business and society.

From software manufacturer to transport robot developer
The history of Insystems began in 1999 in a basement in Berlin Rudow, where the company was initially founded as a GbR by the two managing partners Henry Stubert and Mr. Torsten Gast. While the company initially focused on the production of industrial software, Insystems has developed over the years into a mechanical engineering company that is now one of the specialists for individual transport robots. The transport robots are customized for loads between 30 and 1,200 kilograms and integrated into the customer's factory on site.

Insystems is currently researching the next generation of transport robots that can meet the challenges of Logistics 4.0 and artificial intelligence. The company remains true to its core business and sees itself primarily as a customer partner for holistic automation and material flow solutions.

In total, Insystems has now delivered more than 100 transport robots in more than 30 projects. By the end of March 2019, the company had already received orders for a further 27 vehicles. Its customers include corporations such as Deutsche Bahn, Continental, Oerlikon and Siemens, as well as medium-sized companies such as the Bierbaum Group and Dyconex. as
