"Dahl Linear Move"

Increased radius of action

The "Dahl Linear Move" traversing unit from Rollon and Dahl Automation makes the lightweight, flexible robots from Universal Robots mobile and increases their reach. The complete package consists of a Rollon linear axis, a B&R servo drive and software for simple UR integration and is ready for operation within a short time.

The linear system is designed as a plug-and-play solution; users can make changes to the production layout themselves at any time. The robust Rollon linear units from the Robot series from the Plus system (Actuator Line) or the open R-Smart axes from the same product family are used. Features of the linear axes include high system rigidity, load capacity, torque control, travel speed and positioning accuracy. The basis is an extruded, anodized aluminium profile with a square cross-section. The drive force is transmitted by a steel-reinforced polyurethane toothed belt.

The cobot runs on two parallel profile rail guides with a total of four carriages, which support all loads and torques that occur. The series also impresses with low-maintenance operation, low noise levels and a long service life. The system is compatible with all UR models of the e-Series and CB3 generation from version 3.7 / control unit CB 3.1 and is suitable for wall mounting, floor mounting and ceiling installation. pb
