Cobots help
At FachPack, the Project Group will be presenting a robot from Kassow Robots in action for the first time. It is a flexible cobot application for banding products with a Prosmart banding system.
The automation specialist from Kranenburg specializes in the entire field of end-of-line packaging and services and entered into a partnership with Kassow Robots in June to expand its portfolio with cobots. The Kassow robots with their seven axes are particularly suitable for industrial customers who want to automate flexibly and safely at the same time. Depending on a risk analysis, the collaborative robots require little or no special safety requirements and are easy to operate.
The seven axes have joint speeds of up to 225 degrees each, offer a high load capacity of up to ten kilograms and a long reach. The possible applications include, for example, pick & place and palletizing tasks as well as pallet labelling via the loading of production machines or use in the co-packing area. as
